With a passion for the ocean, I hold a U.S. Coast Guard license for Sail or Power vessels up to 100 tons, as well as an accomplished sailing instructor, certified through the American Sailing Association. Owners are encouraged to come along to obtain their Basic Coast Cruising and Bareboat Charter certification while underway. My passion for boats goes back to the 1980's, when I learned to sail on a small lake in Northern Minnesota. Over the years, I have gained first hand knowledge of many different types of vessels and their corresponding systems. I'm currently a Captain on the research vessel, Sea Phoenix, a 45' twin trawler, a charter Captain at the Monterey Sailing Academy and my home is a 48' sloop, Dreamer.

I pride myself on safety first and completing a delivery 'on time' and within budget. Having completed many deliveries along the western United States, I am confident, you will find - as my clients and customers have - that I am personable, dependable and responsible.

In addition, I hold a college degree in Business and Computer Information Systems, and I'm a non-smoker and non-drinker. I'm available for day trips, deliveries, charters and exploration; even on short notice. Call and let's chat!
