Greetings. I am Captain Mark Gillette. Since achieving my 100 ton Master Captains license when I was 19, I have been at the helm. I have skippered vessels from both the Los Angeles and San Diego areas. I possess intimate knowledge of the California and Baja coasts, banks and outlaying islands. My pssion is fishing and I have taken thousands of anglers, beginners and professionals alike, to the exotic places and outreaches of Baja California on Long Range and Overnight vessels in the San Diego area. I have also taken anglers on overnight and day trips from Morro Bay, Ventura, L.A. and Orange County areas. Although my true love is sportfishing, this does not trump my pure passion for the sea and all means of her intimacy and spirit of adventure. I truly enjoy teaching people to fish, to operate their own vessels. I enjoy maintaining and all maitenance of vessels, as well as island hopping, cruising and deliveries. I am well adapt to pass along my inticate knowledge and experience of all vessel safety, operations, sportfishing and seamanship.
